Dear reader,
Today I have a special treat for you, for I am going to share with you, pictures of some of the closest people to my heart: my family, and my best friend, Melissa (but I call her Missy). Two weeks ago, during my winter break, we all went to the Getty Museum, one of my all-time favorite places in California. I adore the architecture, the view of L.A., the exhibits, the sounds, the smells, the gardens, and even the granite that paves each walkway: it is beautiful. Even if you’re not the “artistic” type, I highly suggest you visit it at least once in your lifetime. Anyways, I brought my camera, and took some candids and some posed portraits of these loved ones, and had a splendid time. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. :)
Hello followers, fans, and visitors
A few weeks ago, my friends, Jenna and Kendra (whom have appeared in past shoots before), and I decided to go on a photo shoot. We planned on experimenting with locations, props, and clothes, almost like a stylized shoot. The first evening, we planned on arriving at a bridge at golden hour. However, we ended up arriving at said location as the sun was setting. Not only that, but my camera was not working properly, and I was having a difficult time focusing on these two models (which is why you may notice that some of the pictures are blurry). We came back to the location around noon the next day, then went to some hills, and I did the best I could to get some nice shots.
It was a fun little adventure, and these two girls are beautiful on the inside and out. They are dear friends, and I can’t wait to share these photos with you.
May I present to you for the second and third time, Kendra and Jenna. :)
Dear fellow bloggers, readers, and photographers,
A year ago, on Kendra’s 16th birthday, I told her I would do a photo shoot for her as part of her present and she told me in return that she would rather wait until she got her braces off. This photo shoot was so enjoyable (minus dodging snakes) and I was blown away by Kendra’s modeling skills! So here is her 16th birthday present, and are you in for a treat!
Kendra, you have been such a sweet friend ever since freshman year. It saddens me that you are going to leave me after next year, since you are going to be a SENIOR! I’m excited to see where life takes you and what you’ll be doing in the very near future. You are talented, beautiful, and unbelievably kindhearted. No matter what happens in the future, don’t change yourself to please others and don’t think you’re anything less than what you are. I love you so much!
Yours truly,
Caroline
What are two girls supposed to do, when they scheduled a photo shoot, but have no ride to their desired destination? This was the very problem that arose when I arrived at Makayla’s to take pictures of her and Jenna. We were losing precious daylight, so I had to quickly brainstorm an idea. I spotted a velvet chair with white studs in Makayla’s room, and I had a vision: a stylized shoot in the middle of the street. It was perfect! Out-of-the-ordinary and spontaneous…a style I had yet to depict in my photography. These two ladies got dressed up in “high-fashion” attire and we all ventured out onto the worn black top, avoiding cars and neighbors’ curious glances. Here is the fabulously chic outcome!

As you can read in my ABOUT section, I had a previous interest in fashion. As a result, I sometimes style the outfits in my photo shoots. This is an example.
